How to play

Twenty-eight cards form the pyramid; a card is playable once nothing overlaps it. Remove pairs whose ranks sum to thirteen — ace counts 1, jack 11, queen 12 — and kings, worth thirteen on their own, leave with a double tap. The stock deals one card at a time to the waste, and the waste top pairs with any exposed pyramid card. When the stock runs dry, tap it again to recycle the waste — as many times as you like, that's the house style. You win when the pyramid is gone; stock leftovers don't count against you.

Questions people ask

Which pairs add up to thirteen?

Ace + queen? No — ace counts 1, so ace pairs with queen (12), two with jack (11), three with ten, four with nine, five with eight, six with seven. Kings are thirteen alone and leave without a partner.

Is every pyramid deal winnable?

No — some deals bury a card's only partners beneath it. That's part of the game. The deal number is shown, so you can retry the exact same pyramid after a loss.

How many times can I go through the stock?

Unlimited here. Strict scoring variants allow two passes; we'd rather you finish the pyramid than watch a counter.
